There was a stir in Patna about 14 hours before the majority test of the National Democratic Alliance government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the Bihar Assembly. Patna Police reached the residence of Tejashwi Yadav, the younger son of Rashtriya Janata Dal National President Lalu Prasad Yadav and 14 days ago the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. The reason was written information about the disappearance of an MLA. Written information about the disappearance of Bahubali Anand Mohan Singh’s son and RJD MLA Chetan Anand was given by his brother Anshuman Anand, after which the police reached Tejashwi Yadav’s residence to search for him.

What Chetna Anand denied was true

‘Amar Ujala’ had reported on February 10 in the afternoon that Chetan Anand, wife of Bahubali Anant Singh and son of Bahubali Anand Mohan, has distanced himself from RJD. A few hours after this news, Tejashwi Yadav hurriedly called a meeting of RJD MLAs at his residence. When everyone was asked to be present under any circumstances, Chetan Anand arrived. He rejected the issue of distance. But, then Tejashwi was put under house arrest like other RJD MLAs. When he left on Saturday afternoon, he did not return till Sunday night. When he could not be contacted through mobile, Chetan Anand’s brother Anshuman gave written information at Patliputra police station in Patna. The news of what Chetan Anand had said while going to Tejashwi’s residence was also published immediately. His name was also mentioned in the news of his house arrest. Yet now, the way his brother reported him missing, it is clear that Chetan Anand was either called unwillingly or forcibly put under house arrest. He was also out of touch with his family, because medicines, clothes etc. had come from the families of other MLAs.
